Almondine emerged from the creative partnership of Marc & Louise, two experienced artists driven by a passion to fuse the nostalgic charm of retro music with the exciting possibilities of modern sounds.
This project serves as their creative playground, a space where they explore textures, rhythms, and harmonies to craft a sonic tapestry that defies time.
Supported by collaborations with fantastic international musicians, Almondine’s music reflects a rich tapestry of influences, enhancing the depth and diversity of their sound.

Their debut single, “Time,” exemplifies their style—melding lo-fi synths with modern rhythmic patterns to explore themes of memory, nostalgia, and the passage of time.

While primarily a studio project, Almondine features a rotating ensemble of talented musicians who bring Marc & Louise’s visions to life.
Opi is the voice of Almondine, delivering lyrics with emotive power and subtle grace. Jay Stapley provides the searing guitar solos that cut through the synth textures, created by Marc & Louise, while Mark Prentice on bass and Chuck Sabo on drums lay down the rhythmic foundation that drives the music forward.
